"Help promote our information technology solutions in the capital markets, banking, insurance and leasing sectors."

CooperKatz worked closely with Capgemini's Financial Services practice to promote its leadership in creating innovative technology solutions that help financial institutions cut costs, raise productivity of their brokers/sales force and form stronger customer relationships. In addition to running a media relations program, CooperKatz helped to create tailored programs for key client prospects.

"Help us promote our World Wealth Report to key national business and trade media."

CooperKatz worked with the Financial Services consulting practice of Capgemini, to promote its annual "World Wealth Report" done in partnership with Merrill Lynch. The report, which includes information about the number and aggregate wealth of high net worth individual investors – those with over $1 million in financial assets – covered more than 59 countries that account for 98% of world GDP.

Media efforts to promote the report began with a press conference held at Merrill Lynch headquarters on June 11, 2003. James Greene, vice president and leader of Capgemini’s financial services practice in North America, served as spokesman for Capgemini. He shared the podium with James Gorman, president of Merrill Lynch’s Global Private Client division. More than 35 journalists attended the event, including reporters from Associated Press, Dow Jones, Reuters, Barron’s, American Banker, Business Week, Forbes, American Banker, U.S. Banker, NBC TV and Fox Television.

The report generated extensive coverage around the world, with pick-up in nearly all of the 40 countries in which it was launched. In the U.S., the report was covered by The New York Times, Fortune Magazine, American Banker, The Los Angeles Times, The Baltimore Sun, AP Online, Dow Jones Business International, among others. On the broadcast front, James Greene appeared on CNBC’s "Business Center" and "The Squawk Box". Alvi Abuaf, vice president and leader of Capgemini’s security industry practice, appeared on NY1’s "Fortune Business Report" and CNNfn’s "Money Gang." Radio coverage included interviews on ABC Radio Network, WFUV (a National Public Radio affiliate in New York) and Bloomberg radio, as well as "readers" on numerous other radio shows. Print interviews were conducted with American Banker, Security Industry News, Bank Investment Consultant, FundFire among others.
