“Help us launch a new social networking Web site aimed at teenage girls.”

As part of CooperKatz’s Cogence® practice, we partnered with CondéNet, the online arm of Condé Nast Publications, on the launch of and ongoing communications support for flip – a new site created to help teenage girls unleash their creativity. At the heart of flip is the Flipbook - a customizable, multi-media photo/video/audio scrapbook that girls can make and share with others, and which takes social networking to a new level. Prior to the launch, CooperKatz targeted a select group of influential bloggers writing across several key categories to test the site, create flipbooks, join clubs and offer feedback — all while encouraging these beta testers to post about their flip experiences. On an ongoing basis, the Cogence team proactively engages influential bloggers to post about unique flipbooks, special contests and fun trends emanating from the site. We also connect with the flip team on a range of other initiatives in the social media space, including supporting flip’s Facebook efforts.
