"Help us launch our new e-business enterprise at a key industry trade show."

CooperKatz helped leading publisher Baker & Taylor introduce its new Internet portal, theLibraryPlace.com, at the American Library Association (ALA) Conference through an on-site survey project. CooperKatz created a series of provocative surveys and interviewed attendees on the conference floor. Surveyed attendees were given a coupon to pick up a complimentary gift at theLibraryPlace.com booth, helping to drive over 400 library professionals to the booth. Survey results were posted everyday on an electronic message board, and participants were also given the chance to win a Palm Vx. The project helped create a positive buzz at the conference about theLibraryPlace.com and helped the company register hundreds of new members.

With interest in thelibraryplace.com growing, CooperKatz designed a month-long promotion on the site which offered librarians ideas, tips and materials they could use to stimulate understanding of the Memorial Day holiday within their libraries.
