CooperKatz launched Ziff Davis Internet’s ExtremeTech, a new Web site that delivers in-depth information about computer technologies to IT professionals and computer enthusiasts who are passionate about technology.

The ExtremeTech program began with a media blitz that garnered significant coverage in a host of top-tier outlets, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and USA Today. Next, CooperKatz organized a West Coast media tour for ZDI’s president with The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The San Francisco Chronicle and CBS MarketWatch.com.

CooperKatz continued the momentum with a show-stopping event at PC Expo, "America’s Fastest Geek," that built additional buzz for the site. The timed PC-building contest drew huge crowds over two days and captured more attention than virtually every other exhibitor at the show. The event garnered widespread print, online and broadcast coverage, including: the New York Post, MSNBC.com, AP, CNBC, UPN New York, FOX News Channel, NY1, and TECH TV.

The widespread media coverage achieved by the CooperKatz launch campaign helped the site register four million page views in its first month.
