The American Cleaning Institute (ACI), a leading organization representing the cleaning products industry, engaged CooperKatz to design and create its second biennial Sustainability Report and promote its findings.
ACI’s 2013 Sustainability Report showcased the continued adoption of sustainability practices throughout the cleaning products industry supply chain. Twenty-four ACI member companies – including Procter & Gamble, SC Johnson and Colgate – contributed environmental data to the 2012 ACI Sustainability Metrics Program, which provided the data for the 2013 Report.
The CooperKatz Creative Services team designed and created both print and online editions of the 32-page Sustainability Report, as well as a 66-page member profiles document. Each member profile outlines the individual participant’s corporate sustainability efforts. In addition, the CooperKatz team worked with ACI to develop messaging and the media / social strategy to promote the Report, including executing media outreach and social media engagement, and developing other collateral materials such as posters and advertisements.
To date, ACI has received a total of over four million media impressions for its 2013 Sustainability Report, including coverage in Environmental Leader, Earth911 and Green Technology World. The Report was also recently named a finalist in the External Publication or Report category of this year’s PR News Nonprofit PR Awards.
