Arctic Ease, the makers of a cold and compression therapy wrap, engaged CooperKatz to increase the awareness and exposure of its product among its key audiences; athletes and active adults. In addition we helped introduce a new version of the Arctic Ease wrap, intended for small joints such as ankles, wrists and elbows.
CooperKatz developed a comprehensive media relations strategy. It began with thorough message development and then transitioned to relationship building with key editors and reporters. Through establishing and facilitating in-person meetings with contacts at fitness, lifestyle and trade outlets, we converted many influencers into enthusiastic fans of Arctic Ease.
We also helped Arctic Ease leverage a partnership with IRONMAN, including developing and executing a social media contest and drafting numerous Facebook and Twitter posts. Finally, a core aspect of our work included brainstorming, developing and distributing a steady stream of seasonal and timely pitches to both short- and long-lead media, which resulted in coverage in the likes of Triathlete Magazine, Active.com, About.com, Woman’s World and NY1.
