CooperKatz planned and executed a four-month, 36-city mobile tour, dubbed the ‘Bunker Bob Y2K Tour Across America.’
Sponsored by online home furnishing company HomePoint.com, the traveling event featured a 50-foot glass house on wheels – beautifully furnished by HomePoint.com – with a live character (Bunker Bob) living inside and searching for the ideal place to ‘bunker down’ in the new millennium. Fans of Bunker Bob could track his journey via a daily updated diary on the HomePoint.com Web site. The Tour started in Miami, traveled up the East Coast, then crossed to California and finally ended in New Orleans on New Year’s Eve. It garnered massive television, radio and print coverage and resulted in significant incremental HomePoint.com site traffic and registrations.
