CooperKatz announces the 2014 Class of Echoing Green Fellows – Promoting social entrepreneurs poised to tackle our planet’s most pressing problems
In the summer of 2014 CooperKatz was engaged by Echoing Green to promote their 2014 class of 55 Fellows – the largest class to-date. Echoing Green has been in existence since 1987 when the organization was founded as the philanthropic arm of leading global growth equity firm General Atlantic. Each year Echoing Green awards close to $4 million dollars of seed funding to the next-generation of leaders addressing the world’s biggest problems. Past recipients of Echoing Green Fellowships include the founders of Teach for America, City Year and The Global Fund for Children.
CooperKatz was tasked with promoting Echoing Green as an organization as well as each of the individual 2014 Fellows and their organizations. The CooperKatz team worked closely with Echoing Green to strategically plan the announcement of the 2014 Fellows, provide media training for Echoing Green Fellows as well as leadership and garner press coverage – in the short time frame of just one month.
During this accelerated campaign CooperKatz was able generate press coverage for Echoing Green and their 2014 Fellows in Forbes, Fast Company and the Chronicle of Philanthropy.
