The Alliance for Family Entertainment is a consortium of more than 40 advertisers — all members of the Association of National Advertisers — who seek to promote and recognize prime time television programs that a family can comfortably view together. Each year the Forum honors shows and actors/actresses at its annual Family Television Awards.
CooperKatz produced and staged the first Family Television Awards ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hilton – an event that in subsequent years became a nationally televised awards program.
For six years, CooperKatz was also responsible for publicizing the award winners and promoting the TV show. A key publicity vehicle we employed was a video news release that typically aired in 150 markets and generated broadcast coverage on entertainment outlets like E!, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, Extra! The TV Guide Channel and CNN.
