Green Ivy Schools, a recently launched network of private schools based in Lower Manhattan, New York City, engaged CooperKatz to raise awareness about the opening of its first two locations: Battery Park Montessori, a preschool in Battery Park City and Pine Street School, serving preschool through eighth grade students in the Financial District.
CooperKatz worked with Green Ivy to develop key messages and differentiate the new schools from other private schools in the competitive New York City market. We supported the openings with media relations campaigns targeting local and national media, resulting in placements in The Wall Street Journal, Parents Magazine, Downtown Express, Metro New York, Newsweek and DNAinfo.
Throughout the engagement, CooperKatz worked with Green Ivy to identify local organizations for potential strategic partnerships. Other efforts included: providing recommendations regarding branding and logos; planning and executing a launch event for Pine Street School; designing and placing local advertisements; creating video content; and helping to develop and place bylined articles on behalf of Green Ivy’s CEO including a contributed piece on Care.com.
