Client Profile

CooperKatz serves as the communications arm of The Physicians Foundation, a national non-profit organization that seeks to advance the work of practicing physicians and to improve the quality of healthcare for all Americans.

At a time of significant change in the U.S. healthcare system, The Physicians Foundation believes the perspectives of practicing physicians and their patients must be better understood and addressed. As one of the Foundation’s core strategic partners, CooperKatz helps garner greater exposure for the organization – with the goal of building awareness among health providers and the American public of how the rapidly changing environment for practicing physicians is impacting patient care.

CooperKatz provides a comprehensive spectrum of services to the Foundation, including: branding and messaging; media training; promotion of proprietary research and grants; and ongoing media outreach to top-tier and health trade press.  Our Creative Services work has included: redesign of The Foundation’s logo; establishing brand guidelines; overseeing the redesign and relaunch of its website, including writing all copy; and producing, shooting and editing a video highlighting its annual “Physician Watch List.”

Our team has generated a consistently wide range of media results, including: coverage in top-tier outlets such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post and Reuters; op-ed placements in Forbes and The Houston Chronicle; and broadcast segments on FOX News and NBC 10 Providence, RI. The Foundation has also been extensively covered in top health trade publications, including Modern Healthcare, HealthLeaders, Kaiser Health News and American Medical News, among others.
