Meet the CooperKatz Fall Intern: Carolina Trujillo

Carolina Trujillo
Pennsylvania State University, Class of 2015

What do you study?
I majored in public relations and minored in Spanish.

What is the best class you’ve ever taken, and why did you love it?
I took a race and ethnic relations class and it was definitely my favorite – probably because Sam Richards (the professor) is considered a legend at Penn State. Aside from the fact that the professor was awesome, it was a very discussion-based class that allowed the students to interact with one another.

Why did you decide to intern in the PR industry?
I’ve had several internships in the PR industry and I really love the fast paced environment of it. I also love the fact that you’re never bored and doing something different every day.

What’s the best thing about NYC?
I love that there is always something going on, no matter what time or day it is. It’s impossible to be bored in this city. I also love that people strive to be successful. There are endless opportunities to make something of yourself here.

Any fun facts about yourself that you’d like to share?

  • I’m a huge Jonas Brothers fan (RIP) and I’ve seen them in concert 15 times. I’ve also met them multiple times.
  • I’m obsessed with pugs.
  • I’m a foodie and wish I was Anthony Bourdain. Follow my food Instagram account @adozenoysters!
  • I backpacked throughout Europe this past summer and went to nine countries and 14 different cities – Italy was my favorite.
