Meet the CooperKatz Spring Interns: Caroline Ferrari & Nneka Williamson

Caroline Ferrari
Marist College, Class of 2015

What do you study?
My major is communication with concentrations in advertising and public relations.

What is the best class you’ve ever taken, and why did you love it?
My Retail Advertising and Promotions class was incredibly hands-on and rewarding. We were able to experience and execute the branding process from the ground up, from interviews and focus groups, to establishing a brand identity, and finally creating an integrated campaign.

What is your favorite website and why?
Twitter is my go-to. I use it for everything – news, pop culture, industry insights, and whatever else I’m interested in!

What are your plans after graduation?
I’m hoping to relocate to New York or another major city and enter the crazy agency world!

Nneka Williamson
Fordham University, Class of 2015

What do you study?
I’m currently a senior studying marketing with a secondary concentration in information systems.

What is the best class you’ve ever taken, and why did you love it?
Last semester I took Integrated Marketing Communications. I had a really enthusiastic professor who always encouraged us to extend our creativity past our comfort zones.

What is your favorite website and why?
Eater. I love this site for discovering new restaurants. It's great if you want to try to eat like a local.

What are your plans after graduation?
Hopefully starting my career in marketing.
