Marcus Hardy joined CooperKatz with experience supporting the public relations initiatives of both corporate and non-profit clients. He currently serves as an account coordinator on the Association of National Advertisers, DialAmerica and Gap International account teams. Previously, as an intern at CooperKatz, Marcus supported DialAmerica, The Physicians Foundation and Siegel+Gale.
Before joining CooperKatz, Marcus was heavily involved with Bradley Public Relations at Brigham Young University, PRSSA’s first nationally affiliated, student-run firm. While at Bradley, Marcus served as an account executive and account director, leading large research initiatives for clients such as the Utah Department of Transportation and Provo City. Later, while serving as Bradley’s director of internal communications, Marcus revitalized Bradley’s web presence and oversaw communication and IT needs for Bradley’s 70-plus students. He also facilitated production of Brigham Young University’s 2012 PR Program of the Year entry.
Marcus along with his capstone public relations course team created a strategic communications campaign for the Family Support and Treatment Center – an abuse prevention, treatment and education facility located in Orem, Utah. He also supported the Utah Valley Symphony’s communications efforts during its 2010-2011 concert season and wrote for Brigham Young University’s student run newspaper, The Daily Universe.
Marcus holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from Brigham Young University, where he also earned a minor in Political Science.
