As a senior account executive at CooperKatz, Melanie Scherenzel supports ongoing account and project assignments for both the public relations and creative production sides of the business. She brings a diverse background to the company, which includes strategic communications planning, marketing, media relations, event planning/production and product placement across a range of industries.
Currently, Melanie supports event and design production initiatives for Amway and The Association of National Advertisers (ANA), as well as the public relations program for DialAmerica.
Prior to CooperKatz, Melanie worked on a variety of public relations and marketing communications programs at boutique agencies Malbon Brothers Farms and Fuzion Marketing Group. Her client experience includes work for Scion, Timberland, Nike, PF Flyers, Catalina Health Resource and IBM. She has also supported branding and communications programs for individual NFL and NBA players. In addition, she has worked in television and online production for Oxygen Media.
Melanie started her communications career at Syracuse University in the Sports Information department, where she handled media relations for football and men's and women's basketball.
She holds a bachelor's degree in information technology and a master's degree in public relations, both from Syracuse University. |
