BIC pens recently released the “BIC for Her” line of pens. Marketed as “Elegant design - just for her!” and “Thin barrel to fit a woman's hand,” these pens have ignited a snarky social media movement.

So, You Think You Can Intern?

As our internships are coming to an end, it seemed like an appropriate moment to sit back, relax, and reflect on all we’ve accomplished here at CooperKatz. Let’s see… We’ve had the opportunity to pitch and even secure top tier media opportunities, participate in a number of company brainstorming sessions, create master media lists, listen in on conference calls, help write byline articles and press releases and attend the company picnic and the Council of PR Firms 2012 Internfest – all while collectively supporting nine accounts. Whew!

After spending the summer at such an amazing PR firm, we wanted to impart some words of wisdom for the next group of interns! So here are our top 10 tips for thriving as an intern at CK.

 

Cleveland (Football) Rocks!

A storied National Football League franchise. An intense rumor mill. Reporters hungry for a scoop. And major news with implications for a city, its team and its fans. CooperKatz was honored to be at the center of an important announcement, working directly with Jimmy Haslam III, the incoming owner of the Cleveland Browns football team. CK led media relations strategy to announce that Jimmy Haslam and current Cleveland Browns owner Randy Lerner had reached an agreement under which Haslam and his family would assume controlling ownership interest of the team.
