Thought Bubble
I recently picked up Malcolm Gladwell’s book, “The Tipping Point,” written a decade or so ago about how “little things can make a big difference,” or essentially – how seeds of ideas become full-blown trends.
When the book was first published in 2000, we were just starting to see social media becoming a trend unto itself. In the late-90s it started with blogging, as people started to express themselves both personally and journalistically in a shiny, new and engaging platform. Less than a decade later, Facebook and Twitter took the social media world by storm, bringing an even more micro-personal and instantaneous nature to social networking. Now we’re watching it again with Pinterest – a trend spreading so fast that it is literally redefining “word of mouth” as I write.
Meredith muses about embracing new social channels like Pinterest and asks - what do you do throughout the day to keep up with clients and understand their business better?
The holiday season is upon us and CooperKatz has a lot to celebrate this year – including our 15th Anniversary!
We hope you’ll enjoy this year’s holiday video, a stop-motion montage tribute to CooperKatz featuring some of the words and phrases that we feel best describe our company and our culture.
Happy holidays from the CooperKatz family, and happy 15th anniversary to CooperKatz!

The number 15 was extra special for adoptable pets this year. Petfinder.com celebrated its 15th birthday, partnered with more than 1,500 shelters and rescue groups, and surpassed its goal of more than 15,000 pet adoptions at their Big Birthday Adoption Event!
CooperKatz lent a hand in planning, organizing and promoting Petfinder.com’s Big Birthday Adoption Event that took place in cities and towns across North America during the weekend of July 15-17. The largest online database of adoptable pets set the bar high for its birthday celebration and managed to exceed its adoption goal! By the end of the weekend, Petfinder.com found forever homes for more than 15,700 adoptable pets.
This week, CooperKatz hit it out of the park with a company trip to Yankee Stadium in honor of the firm’s 15th anniversary. Riding the subway to the Bronx in true New York fashion, the company met in front of the stadium to pose for a picture before heading inside to an all-you-can-eat buffet of hot dogs, sliders, fajitas, ice cream and watermelon.
