Michael Katz brings experience across a wide range of creative disciplines to his role at CooperKatz, where he works as a designer, traffic and production coordinator and assistant producer supporting the entire creative services department.
Prior to joining CooperKatz, Mr. Katz worked as a production assistant for two film companies. After joining Nice Shoes Productions in New York City in 2002, he was promoted to head of traffic, where he managed a staff of six and was responsible for the tracking of all jobs moving in and out of the company. Following completion of a six-month comprehensive post-production course, he became an online editorial assistant, where his responsibilities included design assistance, video encoding and working as a liaison with clients.
Mr. Katz received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Union College in Schenectady, NY. During college he served as a resident assistant, a DJ for the college radio station and played on the college baseball team.
