Blending a creative marketing flair with strong systems and financial management, Ralph Katz has tackled some of the most complex projects and programs ever conceived for corporate America.
Career highlights include project leadership of the worldwide announcement of NYNEXs single brand strategy; creative direction of multiple special events to celebrate the Bicentennial of the New York Stock Exchange; and creative leadership of an award-winning multi-city Olympic touring exhibit for BellSouth.
For the majority of his eighteen years with Burson-Marsteller, he headed the firms highly regarded Creative Services unit, which produced printed materials, meetings, events, films, videos and presentations for clients such as Asea Brown Bovari, Chemical Bank, Digital Equipment, DuPont, Federal Express, Mercedes Benz, MetLife and Wendys. Prior to joining Burson-Marsteller, he spent five years as a media planner and supervisor for Ted Bates Advertising.
At CooperKatz he has led the firms work for Dole® 100% Juice, MasterCard International, Sun Microsystems, Alticor (Amways parent company), The Discovery Networks Upfront advertiser presentations, VNU and ACNielsen internal communications, the Association of National Advertisers annual conferences, the re-launch of the Coca-Cola Companys PowerAde, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the 100th Anniversary of the invention of air conditioning for Carrier Corporation.
He holds a B.A. from Case Western Reserve University and an M.S. from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University.
