Abby Trexler brings more than 12 years of experience in the public relations field to her role as director, client services at CooperKatz & Company, Inc. Throughout her career, she has supported a broad assortment of clients across several industry sectors including technology, telecommunications, food and beverage products, education, healthcare, financial services, automotive and trade associations.
At CooperKatz, she works with clients in the healthcare and financial services industries, including Memorial Sloan Kettering, Fiserv and Strategic Funding Source. Her past experience at CooperKatz includes working with Siegel+Gale, AICPA and the Alliance to Advance Patient Nutrition.
Highlights of her work prior to joining CooperKatz include: planning and executing the opening of the Conrad hotel in Indianapolis; supporting communications outreach for the Indianapolis Colts; publicizing diabetes award winners for Lilly pharmaceutics; and successfully executing a variety of campaigns for Starbucks, ranging from new food and beverage introductions to “surprise and delight” events that targeted consumers in new and inviting ways.
Abby gained in-house experience at BrightPoint, Inc., where she led internal and external communications for the publicly traded wireless logistics provider. She continued her in-house career with Jack Morton Worldwide, leveraging media and speaking opportunities with teams from Hyundai, Thomson Reuters and General Motors.
Currently, Abby serves as the VP of Marketing for the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) New York Chapter. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Xavier University, a Masters of Arts in Communications from Johns Hopkins University and is Accredited in Public Relations (APR) from PRSA.
