CooperKatz planned, produced and staged two spectacular annual Achievers meetings. These events honored the company’s 6,000-plus top performers from across North America with a combination of business presentations and entertaining experiences. For both of these events, CooperKatz developed the agenda and content flow for a four-day program; created the stage set and production elements; devised unique ways to reveal those being recognized; selected compelling guest speakers; identified and negotiated talent acts; and planned and staged final night galas. Featured entertainers at the Achievers meetings included world-renowned illusionist, Jeff McBride; a capella sensation, Mosaic; and Broadway star of "Movin’ Out," Michael Cavanaugh.
CooperKatz worked with Amway’s North American division and its special events group to orchestrate an eight-day recognition program in Maui, HI, honoring the company’s highest achievers, the Executive Diamond Club and Diamond Club qualifiers. Taking the creative lead, CooperKatz facilitated several strategy and brainstorming sessions that included the client team to develop the messaging and agenda for the two four-day events that honored a total of 425 people.
The activities included a business meeting during each session; custom recognition galas; bold stage set elements including vertical screen kiosks running theme-related video clips; and an appearance by the star of Broadway’s “Movin’ Out,” Michael Cavanaugh. CooperKatz designed all presentation graphics, video elements, the stage set and thematic room décor.
During pre-production CooperKatz assisted Amway Global executives in crafting and visualizing their presentations and rehearsing on-site. A special aspect of the recognition galas, held outdoors at Molokini Lookout, was the naming of a star and presentation of a star certificate for each honoree, as well as the opportunity for each guest to work with an astronomer to locate his or her star.
