A nationally-known body airbrush artist used her skills to paint PowerAde graphics from head to toe on 30 male and female models and two world-class strongmen. The event drew nearly a thousand spectators who enjoyed samples of the new PowerAde distributed by the painted models and watched the strongmen participate in a ‘PowerAde Pull,’ in which they tested their strength by pulling two PowerAde-painted tractor trailers across a finish line.
Pre-publicity for the event began the morning of the Union Square event with studio interviews for the strongmen, models and airbrush artist on “FOX & Friends” and “Good Day, NY!” The launch media results also included a national hit on CNN and local segments appearing on TV outlets in 20 markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Washington, Miami and Cincinnati. Representatives of the Coca-Cola Company pronounced the launch one of the most successful in company history.
