CooperKatz helped The Partnership refine its message platform, publicize its annual PATS research (Partnership Attitudes Tracking Study) and elevate its executives as experts in the dialogue on drug abuse. Through an aggressive media campaign, we secured placements in USA Today, Los Angeles Times, New York Post and Associated Press.
CooperKatz also secured a major feature in People, where Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack and her son Chesare shared their experiences of how addiction and recovery can affect a family. CooperKatz worked closely with the Partnership, the Congresswoman and People over several months to secure the three-page story, which positioned the Partnership’s Web site as a safe place to find accurate information about drug and alcohol issues. Following the article’s release, CooperKatz booked a national morning show segment on the “CBS Early Show” highlighting the Congresswoman’s personal story. In the segment, Congresswoman Bono Mack recommended that parents take action and seek help from The Partnership for a Drug-Free America.
