As an account intern at CooperKatz & Company, Aaron Gavin provides support to a number of clients including ASCAP (the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers), TowerGroup and Zipcar.
Mr. Gavin is a Political Science and Philosophy and Law major at Brooklyn College, where his expected date of graduation is 2009. He has had experience working as an intern in the office of Senator Hillary Clinton, vetting requests from her constituents, and currently serves as a political columnist for Brooklyn College’s student newspaper, The Excelsior. Mr. Gavin is a member of the CUNY Honors College Scholars Program and a Jeannette K. Watson Fellow.
During his first summer as a Watson Fellow, Mr. Gavin interned at the Institute of International Education (IIE) supporting the Scholar Rescue Fund World Report. His primary responsibilities were to organize statistical data in reference to various indicators of academic persecution around the world and compile personal stories of specific scholars, helping bring their stories to life.
