Shanley Stern Gravel, account supervisor, is a key member of the agency's Invest Northern Ireland team, with special emphasis on raising the region's visibility with U.S. financial services companies looking to expand internationally. Ms. Stern Gravel also works on PubSub, a new web services 'matching' engine and Topix.net, the largest online news aggregator.
Ms. Stern Gravel joined the CooperKatz team in the fall of 2003. Previously, she directed the communications program for Quadriga Investment Group, a European hedge fund firm recently launched in the U.S. At Quadriga, her responsibilities included media, investor and financial relations.
Ms. Stern Gravel started her career as a journalist in the Boston area. She initially covered town government for a weekly newspaper, before moving to a daily, where she reported on crime, spot news and education.
She holds a bachelor's degree from Roanoke College in Virginia and a master's degree in journalism from Boston University.
