For much of the Fall, admissions officers from selective colleges are on the road describing their schools to high school seniors around the country. While students are preparing their short lists and deciding where to apply, college deans are also searching for candidates they feel will be strong contributors to their campus communities.
Last week, Seth Allen, the dean of admission and financial aid for CK client Grinnell College in Iowa, was featured on the “TODAY Show.” Cameras followed Seth as he visited two New York City high schools, the Bronx High School of Science and DeWitt Clinton, and answered such questions as “What are your most popular majors?” and “What are some careers that students have after they graduate?”
As a highly-ranked liberal arts college, Grinnell seeks to attract students from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds in order to create a diverse campus environment. CooperKatz is proud to be entering its third year working with the communications team at Grinnell College to showcase the College’s distinctive individually-advised curriculum, subject matter experts and leadership initiatives.
